1954 Alvis TC21/100 Grey Lady - Collector Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

This stunning Grey Lady was first registered to Alvis Limited of Holyhead Road, Coventry on 8th November 1954, when list price was £1,821. According to the Alvis Club, this car is one of approximately 750 models of this type built between October 1953 and December 1955, 650 of which were of the saloon type.

The Alvis comes with a comprehensive history including original 'buff' logbook, MOT certificates dating back to 1981, details and photographic record of a full chassis up rebuild costing over £8500 in 1983 and invoices for work carried out since 2005 totalling over £17,000 for yet another restoration. From 1983 to 2005 the TC21 remained with the same owner who had the car rebuilt near Bristol soon into his long term ownership. Since this initial restoration, the Alvis has covered less than 10,000 miles and under 3,000 miles since the more recent restoration work.

Today the vehicle is beautifully presented as expected with such recent expenditure. The Alvis is a true delight on the road and performs exceptionally well. Paint and chrome are of a lovely standard and the body is remarkably good. The leather upholstery has aged well and gives the car a lovely original feel. This fine example has a feel of true quality and class.
