1947 Olds 2-Door Club Coupe street custom in stunning Pearlescent Purple with a gray interior and chrome Cragar SS wheels. Exceptionally nice Olds mild custom with shaved bumpers, dechromed / detrimmed body, frenched rear antenna, and only 72,076 actual miles. The original straight 8 engine has been rebuilt and is 100% factory stock with the original 2-barrel carburetor, original oil bath aircleaner, original exhaust manifold, and is finished in the correct green color. Fires right up and settles into a smooth quiet idle. Runs perfectly on pump gas and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The original Hydramatic automatic transmission, also rebuilt & resealed, shifts perfectly and the factory 3.00 rearend allows relaxed highway driving. Cruises nicely at 65-70 mph and easily runs with modern traffic. Professionally reupholstered interior in beautiful condition. The seats (front & rear) have been refoamed and recovered in the correct gray cloth. The interior door panels were also reupholstered and the armrests recovered. New full carpet kit and new headliner. Seat belts front & rear. New door sill plates and new parcel shelf. The dash is in excellent condition and all instruments work properly along with the lights, turn signals, horn, & wipers. A modern stereo (AM/FM/tape) has been installed without cutting the dash and has rear speakers and a power antenna. Crank operated front & vent windows with slide operated rear windows. Excellent body with no dents, no dings, no waves and there is no rust and no body filler. The trim has been removed as part of the custom conversion including the hood ornament, side spears, and window brightwork. The original large chrome bumpers front & rear have been replaced with clean stainless steel custom bumpers and a side exit exhaust installed. The rear mounted antenna has been frenched. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. The trunk contains the original spare tires, trunk mat, and carpet. Chrome Cragar SS wheels fitted with P205-70-15 BFGoodrich T/A Radials finish the look. Runs & drives perfectly, turnkey ready for cruises and shows, and has passed rigorous Pennsylvania state inspection.
