1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible - Classic Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

The 1966 Lincoln Continental received the most extensive facelift for this series since 1961. In a yearly modified form, this basic crisp theme would be carried through to 1966's curved side glass, which had been eliminated for 1964-1965, returned for 1966, and stayed with Lincoln through 1969; it served to accentuate the car's otherwise straight-line design. Ahead of the front wheel and above the front bumper, the car carried the four-pointed Continental "star." The 1966 Lincoln deserved this star -- a distinctive benchmark of Lincoln Continental styling. It was as if the creators had placed it there as a tribute to this triumph of design.

The convertible saw a few technical changes in 1966 related to lowering and raising the top. Lincoln engineers separated the hydraulics for the top and rear deck lid (trunk) by adding a second pump and eliminating the hydraulic solenoids. A glass rear window replaced the previous years' plastic windows.

This specific 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible you see here is a 60,000, original mile car! Still finished in its original colors of triple black, the car drives like a dream and is THE most desirable color combination out of any of the Suicide door Lincolns that are available.

The black paint is in great condition and only shows some minor imperfections. The car has been repainted in the past few years and it looks great. The power top operates only from the key switch outside the car. The switch inside is currently not working. The top is in great condition though with no major staining, rips or tears. The glass rear window shows no cracks or chips along with the other windows and windshield. The front and rear chrome bumpers both are in excellent condition. The trunk is very clean and has been carpeted.

The interior of the car is in great condition. The black front and rear bench seats have both been reupholstered and show no imperfections. All the carpet is new and looks great with no rips, tears or staining. The AM/FM radio appears to be the original for the car and turns on, but only emits static. All the lights, blinkers and wipers work with no problems. All the power functions work for the main windows; the two vent windows are currently inoperable.

The engine is the original 462 CU IN V8. It runs strong and is attached to a 3 speed automatic transmission with shifter on the column. The current mileage shows 60,229 and is believed to be actual for the car. The engine compartment is very clean. The underside of the car is very solid throughout and has no major undercoating. There is some very minor rot to the floors on the drivers side rear floor pan. The rest of the floors are very solid with no rot. The VIN is 6Y86G441531 and mileage shows 60,229.

1929 Ford Model A Truck - Classic Truck For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

The Model A Pickup coincided with the launch of the new Model A in 1928, although the body for the first two years was more or less that of the earlier Model T Runabout Pickup. Closed cab pickups were not introduced until August, 1928. In mid-1930, a new body style was introduced with wider fenders and a one-piece flat-folding windshield. Body styles included the Sedan Delivery (also known as the Deluxe Delivery), Open Cab Pickup, Closed Cab Pickup, Panel Delivery, and Town Car Delivery. The Closed Cab Pickup was by far the most popular, while the Town Car Delivery saw extremely limited production: only 3 of them were built in 1930, the first year of their production, followed by an additional 196 manufactured in 1931, the final year of the Model A.

This particular 1929 Ford Model A pickup truck has recently gone through a complete restoration to make it what you see today. Finished in dark green with black fenders, the truck has recently received a new wood bed and stakes installed which look great. Converted to a 12 volt system with alternator, the truck is more reliable and easier starting then most, original styled 6 volt Model A’s.

The paint on the truck is in great condition with no major blemishes to be found besides the rear tailgate where the chains have taken off some of the paint. The rest of the truck, looks very good with only some minor scratches. All the wood in the bed looks newer and shows no signs of rot. The same goes for the wood stakes. The steel fenders are in very good condition with no major dings and scratches and look great.

The black bench seat inside is nearly perfect. It shows no rips or tears. The inside of the truck is painted the same color as the exterior except for the dash, which has been sprayed black. The door panels and kick panels are finished in the same matching black vinyl that the seat is finished in. There have been wood bows installed on the headliner which is a nice touch. The aftermarket light switch is working with no problems and turns on all lights in the front and rear.

The inline 4 cylinder motor runs great. This is an electric start truck and is on a 12 volt system. The brakes work well and the transmission performs as it should. The wire wheels are in great condition and are wrapped with 6 ply tires that are in good overall condition with some dry rot and cracking. The VIN number is 1476466 and is being sold on a clean Oklahoma title. Keep your eyes open as we just purchased a wonderful 1928 Model A "AR" Roadster Pick Up that has gone through a complete restoration!

1952 Alvis TC21 - Collector Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

The TA 21 was Alvis' last completely new car design to reach production. It sought to move the marquee back into a more expensive area of the market than the TA 14. Only the gearbox was carried on from the 12/70 through the TA 14, but many standard Alvis design characteristics could be identified. Independent front suspension, by coil springs and wishbones, was of Alvis design, mounted on a massive cross member. The 111 ½” wheelbase chassis had a frame and box section, the box being closed with a plate welded across the bottom. It was of still lighter section than the earlier chassis, yet more rigid. Rear suspension was conventional, with half-elliptic springs mounting a Salisbury hypoid axle. Telescopic dampers were fitted front and rear.

Standard coachwork was a four door sunroof saloon made by Mulliner, and the 2-door drophead from Tickford as you see here. The TA 21 line only consisted of only 1,316 cars ever being produced. The car you see here is a fantastic example of one of those famous dropheads. Finished in burgundy and white, the car has benefited from a recent restoration to bring it back to its original standards. The paint on the car is in fantastic condition with no major imperfections to be found. All the chrome shows very well and the windows are in good condition with no cracks or major rock chips. The burgundy soft top shows well with no holes or stains.

Inside, the reupholstered burgundy seats with white piping look great with no wear to be found. All of the vinyl is new throughout the inside of the car which looks great. The wood on the dash and doors is in very good, solid condition with no rotting or discoloration. The steering wheel has been covered with a leather cover. All gauges appear to be in good working order as well as the lights.

Under the hood, the inline 6 cylinder with dual SU carbs runs great. With a push of the starter button the car starts right up with no issues and runs down the road very smooth. The manual transmission shifts with no problems and the clutch performs as it should. The engine compartment is very clean and has been well kept since the restoration. The dual carbs have been recently tuned and perform problem free.

The underside of this car is as clean as the top with on rot to be found anywhere to the floors, frame supports or inner rockers. The current mileage on the car shows 81,735 which is believed to be actual for the car. VIN number is WA7874508 and the car is being sold on a clean Oklahoma title.

1969 Plymouth Roadrunner A12 440+6 - Collector Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Beep! Beep! Sure sounds friendly, eh? Well...I'd pay more attention to that menacing hood than the cutesy horn, pal. 440 cubic inches of power, huge carburetion hooked to a big Dana out back by a hard shifting Torqueflite is gonna get you every time. With its original build sheet and original fender tag, a known ownership history and a high quality restoration this Beeper's right for your high powered collection!

For Mopar muscle car fans, Hemi was four letters for performance. Hemi was also four letters for expensive, temperamental and, for the most part, bland, with only those little “Hemi” badges to alert the other guy to the thrashing he was about to receive. In what seems as an about-face answer to all of that was this car: The lift-off hood A12 package Road Runner. Brash, loud, and frequently faster than the Hemi, nearly devoid of creature comforts and with no clear track objective, these cars did one thing, and did it well: They ruled the streets.

Here's the fender tag:
TOP) LINE 6 :
05110 = 2 DIGIT GATE # 3 DIGIT BASE #
281615 = 6 DIGIT LINE SEQUENCE #
9 = YEAR 1969
A =

93 = TRANSMISSION CODE – HD TORQUEFLITE AUTOMATIC
LINE 4:

E63 - ENGINE (CARS STARTED AS 383-4BBL)
D32 - 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC
426 - SCHEDULED PRODUCTION DATE (APR 26)
949449 - VEHICLE ORDER #

On to the build sheet, we also add S77 power steering and an R11 AM radio as well as A12 standard items such as J25 three speed wipers, W25 steel wheels, U7S G70x14 redline tires, N65 torque drive fan, N51 max cool package, B31 heavy duty drum brakes and the F23 heavy duty suspension. These sheets rarely follow an A12 to the present day—it's a treat to even see one!

Under the original hood you'll find a well dressed, 2/69 cast/4-16 assembled 440HP engine replacing the long gone original. There’s a correct 054 radiator up front, hooked up to the motor by reproduction radiator and heater hoses with correct Corbin clamps. Date coded correct spark plug wires connect to a Pertronix electronic ignition kit and ride in reproduction wire looms. The original air cleaner assembly hosts a correct reproduction air cleaner element and hides the rebuilt and detailed carbs complete with the proper choke and fast idle solenoid assemblies. The battery’s a larger group 27 in the picture but the car will come with a correct group 25. New cables, the correct PCV valve and a rebuilt master cylinder add to the "just right" look!

This is a full rotisserie job with orange paint everywhere, hidden only by undercoating in the right places. Freshly rebuilt brakes front and rear bring the car to a halt with new lines and hoses. A new reproduction exhaust system complete with reproduction Hemi mufflers keep things as stealthy as possible for a car with a flat black hood! A new fuel tank and sender and new lines supply fuel forward and round out a well detailed, rebuilt chassis. Open up to the trunk to find the spare, proper jack and a new trunk mat sitting on the original trunk floor. All is fresh, all is show ready!

Inside you’ll find a mix of mint original parts with high quality reproductions. A new gauge bezel adds shine, as do the new armrest bases and inside door handles. All soft trim from the headliner to the door panels to the carpet is from Legendary. The gauges read brightly and accurately, the upper door frames were repainted and accent the new door panels, the big bench seat is perfect for short bursts of speed or a decent cruise—hop in, give a quick beep-beep and run!

New, shiny paint outside is the first thing you notice. Vitamin "C" is very cool with its light gold metallic flakes! The body is very straight, the gaps are excellent and the doors close very nicely. Up front you’ll find a freshly re-chromed bumper underneath a very nice grille before moving up to that mammoth black hood. The riveted hood pin bezels are correct (only steel hoods got screws) as are the short lanyards. What little bright work on the car (these weren’t meant to dazzle you with chrome!) is in superb shape with an excellent shine. The rear bumper is also re-chromed and sits below an excellent tail panel and taillight set. Four gloss black steel wheels are wrapped with brand new G70x15 Firestone redlines for the original look without resorting to NOS tires!

This is a blue chip Mopar, in one of the best colors out there, with its original factory documentation and an excellent restoration! Rotisserie restored A12 Road Runners like this one are sure-fire investments which have been on the forefront of the collector market for years. Beep! Beep!

1970 Plymouth Barracuda AAR 340 6 Pack - Muscle Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Here's a very special AAR to drool over—numbers matching, expertly restored, cool color, Elastomeric front bumper, broadcast sheet and it's a four speed car. Restored on a rotisserie, and sorted out well enough to drive it daily, this is one of the nicest and most well rounded Trans-Am cars you're likely to find in your lifetime.

Documentation is always important with these cars, and this car's hiding nothing. We have TWO original broadcast sheets, the original window sticker, the original fender tags, the Galen Govier report, matching stamps on the body and original stampings on the motor and transmission. One broadcast sheet is the standard copy from under the rear seat but the other is the inspector's copy with footnotes and markings. This is a time where "what you see is what you get" is a major plus!

AARs and T/As have at least two tags, one (or more) for codes and a second tag that says “TRANS AM” for the A53 package. Here’s the fender tag breakdown:

R11 V6H Y05 26 EN1
J45 J82 M21 M88 N44 N94

FK5 Deep Burnt Orange exterior
A21 Elastomeric Front Bumper Package
A53 Trans Am Package
B51 Power Brakes
C55 Bucket Seats
G36 OS Dual Racing Mirrors, Painted
FK5 Deep Burnt Orange exterior
H6X9 Black Bucket Seat Interior

D21 Four Speed Manual Transmission
BS23 ‘Cuda Hardtop
J0B 340+6 Engine, 1970 Model Year, Hamtramck Assembly
292xxx VIN

Pull the hood pins and gently lift on the hood (not the scoop!) to show the immaculately detailed engine compartment. As a reminder, this is the ORIGINAL 340 engine, placed in this AAR on the assembly line in 1970. There are the correct hoses and spark plug wires, the air filter’s correct, the motor’s the right shade of orange and the compartment itself is gorgeous. Cool little details are everywhere from the date coded voltage regulator to the correct driver side exhaust manifold gasket. The underside of the hood is matte black (non textured) as original and the hood treatment follows the cowl as it should. The correct group 25 battery's in the corner and the original 974 radiator's up front. The motor runs better than new and the power steering is a welcome factory option. Backing up the 340 is the ORIGINAL A833 4 speed manual transmission, newly rebuilt, with flawless functionality.

We put this guy on the lift and were very happy to find what we saw. Clean, original floor pans and frame rails have been treated to the same glossy FK5 hue as the topside. Fully detailed front and rear suspensions look awesome against the clean backdrop. A new exhaust system's in place from head pipes to chrome tips. Rallye wheels hold F60-15 front and G60-15 rear Goodyear Polyglas tires as the AAR and T/A models were the first production cars in America to have staggered tire sizes. Also present is the top level suspension with Hemi-spec torsion bars and leaf springs and front and rear sway bars, and all of it is very well done.

Detailing a ‘Cuda 101 continues in the trunk with the correct BFGoodrich space saver spare, jack and inflator bottle. Lifting the correct mat reveals a trunk pan fit for a kitchen table with all of the proper plugs and access covers.

Sold new by Spring Valley Motors in Spring Valley, Illinois, the car was obviously cared for and kept right. The 53,000 miles shown on the odometer feels right and the body's condition is right in line. Panel fit is excellent and the body is very straight. Basecoat/clearcoat burnt orange paint lays flat and clear while the blacked-out areas are done in a very even matte black textured paint. One of only 75 known in Deep Burnt Orange, the color is as uncommon as it is beautiful, accounting for a mere 7% of known cars! I love the color on AARs because it works so well with the blacked out treatments. Chrome and stainless trim pieces are excellent and the Elastomeric front bumper is straight and flat, complimenting the outstanding finish from the AAR-specific grille to the taillight bezels. Looking like it should have been a standard part on the Trans Am cars, the fully functional, 1970 date coded hood tach is a real eye catcher. A factory accessory straight out of the Hustle Stuff catalog it's been on the car since it was nearly new!

The interior is in the same excellent shape as the rest of the car. New Legendary seat covers and foams take center stage, accented on the floor by the original pistol grip shifter. A mint dash pad covers the excellent original gauges, the steering wheel and column are as new, and everything from the carpet to the headliner is new and professionally installed.

This is a gorgeous AAR, fully detailed, running beautifully, numbers matching and fully documented. We sold our Mopar Nats winning Sassy Grass AAR automatic car $119,900, and dare we say, this one is very nearly the equal of that car, AND it’s a 4 speed. If you’re in the market for one of the coolest, lowest production cars Mopar built during the muscle car era, with ALL the right stuff, this is the one that you want! Don’t wait on it, because it’s not going to wait on you!

1968 Plymouth GTX 440 4 Speed Dana 60 - Muscle Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Avid readers, you know we like Plymouth's GTX. We get a lot of them through here, and with good reason—they're cool, interesting, powerful, they look great...and we keep digging up the good ones! Take this car, for example: Clean Arizona sheet metal, brilliant red paint, an all new interior and clean details, and best of all, it’s a true 440, 4 speed, Dana 60 car...how could we resist? More importantly, how can YOU resist??

Here's the original fender tag broken down:

CAR: Plymouth GTX 2 Door Hardtop
ENGINE: 440cid 4-bbl HP V8
TRANSMISSION: 4-Speed Manual Floor Shift
TIRES: F70x14 Red Sidewall
BUILD DATE: June 21, 1968.
AXLE: 3.54 Rear Axle Ratio (Dana 60), Sure Grip
INTERIOR: S6R Sport Trim Grade, Vinyl Bucket Seats, Red Interior.
PAINT: PP1 Performance Red Paint.
OTHER: Burgundy Metallic Upper Door Frame Color.
25: Drip Rail Moldings
78: Wheel Lip Moldings
A1: 26in Radiator
H1: Power Brakes
R8: AM/FM Radio
T7: Tachometer
Y6: Black Vinyl Top
b4: Bucket Seats
k7: Passenger Outside Manual Mirror
m6: Driver's Outside Remote Operated Mirror

Start outside. The paint is blindingly red, flat and smooth. In GM land the paint work would be referred to as a "body on" job—the interior came out, the motor and transmission were pulled, the glass all came out and all of the jambs were finished to better than new, but the clean undercarriage was left untouched and original. The factory undercoating is in great shape underneath, so why disturb it? We like cars you can drive! As far as trim goes, it's all polished original stuff, and if it was chrome it was replaced or re-plated. New door handles, a new antenna, new locks, re-chromed bumpers, highly polished and dent-free window moldings, a new windshield, restored taillights and finish panel, new lenses and more. New chrome road wheels holding new radial redlines and a slick new black vinyl top complete the exterior with style!

Hop inside. New black Legendary upholstery on new foam means you’ll be comfortable on long trips. It also gives you time to look around at all the other restored or new components in here—the door panels, armrest bases, armrest pads, door handles, carpet, headliner, visors and the floor mats are all new, while the gauges, dash, steering column, steering wheel and all mechanical bits have been carefully restored. BE/A provided the gauge lens and bezel, Real Time Engineering expertly restored the original tach and our shop painstakingly restored the original switch panel. We want you to drive the car—you might as well be comfortable (and well informed) while doing it!

Peek underneath at the road trip-ready undercarriage. The front end's nice and tight, the brakes are adjusted right and the exhaust system with Flowmasters plays one heck of a soundtrack. We scraped a 1x2" section of the undercoating away to see what it's like underneath, and we were as pleased as you will be. That original sheet metal from stem to stern is CLEAN—the product of its Arizona home before landing in Ohio for its restoration. A new clutch and Hurst shifter on the date coded 18 spline A833 4 speed transmission make changing gears a pleasure while the original DANA 60 with 3.54 gears and a Sure Grip out back can take all the abuse you can throw at it!

Under the hood you’ll find some serious attention to detail. The engine compartment and underside of the hood are loaded with clear for an unreal shine, as is the motor itself! The original air cleaner covers a brand new Edelbrock carburetor bolted to the rebuilt, warranty replacement engine. All new date coded hoses and wires are present, and all ancillary devices such as the alternator, power steering and other systems appear better than new. A new washer fluid reservoir, pump and lines are on the passenger side while a new Turbo Start group 27 battery, correct hold down and new battery cables are on the left. The correct Glen-Ray radiator’s topped by the correct cap, the right ballast resistor and date coded voltage regulator sit next to the rebuilt wiper motor, new wiring ties everything together…no stones left unturned here!

Time to step up to GTX—’68 cars are wicked quick and are the last of the understated B bodies. And unless you can afford a HEMI which you probably won’t drive, a 440, 4 Speed, Dana 60 car in red is as good as it gets for the performance minded out there. Gorgeous in the sun and sultry at night this upscale beast runs with the best of 'em. With excellent paint, thorough execution and attention to detail, a fully rebuilt drivetrain and clean body, this is one to hold on to, whether you’re into cruising or investing!

END: End of Sales Codes

Realize only 1,452 R/T SE Chargers were bolted together in '70—that's a very small number! Since Charger was better dressed than any other B body, the SE package didn't need to be as comprehensive as it was on the Challenger. You got leather seats, the wood-grain sports wheel, pedal dress up, wood-grain dash panels (which came with the R/T anyway,) the light package, deep dish wheel covers and SE emblems on the sail panels. Chargers already had wheel lip, drip rail and belt moldings...the SE package was just icing on an already beautiful cake!

Walk up to the driver's door and sight down the straight body. Chargers just look so good in B5 blue...not many other colors look as natural on the curvaceous flanks. The restored original grille inside the re-chromed front bumper starts the car off right. Out back the original, unobtainable rear finish panel is in excellent shape as are the correct taillights. There's a re-chromed bumper back here, too, barely covering the turned down exhaust tips poking out from below. All lights and lenses are in great shape and work as they should from the parking lights up front to the hood mounted turn signal assemblies in your line of sight. Original door scoops with new R/T emblems make sure no one mistakes this brawler for an average 318 car! Classic and new 15x7 chromed Magnum 500 wheels with 225/70 front and 255/60 rear B F Goodrich Radial T/A tires anchor the car to the ground and add dazzle. The vinyl top, the clean glass...it's all part of an excellent package!

Inside you'll find new seat covers, new carpeting, new armrest bases and door handles mixing with the original center console, shifter and more. New brake and emergency brake pedal pads join a new gas pedal and brand new pedal dress up trim. Performance Car Graphics handled the dash restoration; we added new BE/A console top plates, new sill plates, a restored wood-grain wheel and more. The original controls turn on the heater and A/C, which does blow cold—that's rare!

Drop underneath to see the car's clean floor pans are uniformly satin black. The fully rebuilt front suspension handles well and steers easily with the factory power steering. The original fuel tank and lines are still up to the task and remain where St. Louis put them. New brakes at all four corners stop securely. There's a new exhaust system from the correct manifolds back to the turn downs. It's clean and trip ready under here!

A new 440 Magnum call out pie pan on the original air cleaner conspires with the original A/C compressor to dominate your initial view of the engine compartment. A date coded reproduction voltage regulator joins the rebuilt original ballast resistor next to the original wiper motor and new master cylinder on the firewall. The G440HP '71 motor fires immediately and runs smoothly with no issues, thanks to the original 4740S carburetor and the original points distributor. Cooling duties are handled by the correct 956 radiator and new hoses, spark travels through date-coded cables, there's a new group 27 battery in the corner, both the motor and transmission were thoroughly gone through...this car's a runner!

1968 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi - Muscle Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

This GTX is one of the finest cars we’ve had here at Best of Show, bar none. In its first and only showing to date it knocked down second place in class at the Mopar Nationals this year—that’s entering the show circuit with a bang! The car was literally finished hours before the Nationals and loaded on a trailer. Our shop has spent the last few weeks making this one perfect! Flawless paint, a Hemi and a four speed and intense attention to detail set this car apart from show pretenders.

Here are the specs:

CAR: Plymouth GTX 2 Door Hardtop
ENGINE: 426cid Hemi 2x4-bbl HP V8
TRANSMISSION: 4-Speed manual
TIRES: F70x15 Redline tires, nylon belted
BUILD DATE: February 01, 1969
AXLE: 3.54 Rear axle ratio Dana 60, Sure Grip
INTERIOR: Black sport trim grade vinyl bucket seats
PAINT: Bright Blue Metallic paint.
Black upper door frame paint
White horizontal sport stripe
19: Wide Sill Mouldings
25: Drip Rail Mouldings
30: Body Belt Mouldings
78: Wheel Lip Mouldings
A1: 26in Radiator
R0: AM 8-Track stereo Radio
T7: Tachometer
X1: Tinted Glass (all)
Y6: Black Vinyl Top
a6: Console
b4: Bucket Seats
u1: Sold Car When Built (Somebody Ordered It)

This information came from the original fender tag. We also have around half of the original build sheet, but it’s enough: The VIN matches the build sheet and the build sheet matches the core support. Remember the build sheet is the ONLY way to determine whether the body you’re looking at belongs to the VIN on the dash!

Obviously the Hemi engine dominates the build sheet, but the cool Bright Blue with white stripes and a black top deserves a nod—three color cars are very, very cool. The moldings are as you’d expect on a GTX, the tinted glass is a nice touch and the center console really dresses up the interior. The four speed is the top option other than the motor, and while the 15” wheels and F70x15 tires aren’t yet the norm, the prize for most unusual goes to the stereo 8 track deck in the dash—how many Hemi cars have you seen with one of those?

Staring down the sides you’ll agree with us that this car is arrow straight. Waves, ripples and defects are nowhere to be found, and the paint’s gorgeous. The fully restored tail panel has the nicest chrome we’ve ever had here. Trim from reveal moldings to the bottle cap hubcaps shines better than new. The vinyl top and side stripes are perfectly straight, the grille is mint and the bumpers, door handles and emblems shine as new.

New Legendary door panels, seat upholstery and foams, new carpeting and a new headliner accent the mint upper and lower dash pads, gorgeous gauges, restored wood grain sport wheel and beautiful center console. The Hurst shifter is correct for a late ’68 car as Chrysler had ditched the troublesome Inland units earlier. The console top plates, end cap and console lights are new while the dash fascia plates are mint originals. Everything functions as it should from the gauges to the lights to the working original AM/FM radio (handier than the factory 8 track unit and still just as hard to find) to the rebuilt tachometer. The view from the driver’s seat is amazing—if gas went down to 39 cents a gallon for Super Chief you’d be back in 1968!

The original block long gone, a completely rebuilt and detailed 1969 426 block takes up the reins in the nearly perfect engine compartment. Date coded wires, correct battery cables, correct finishes and fasteners—that’s just the start. The air cleaner’s chrome is perfect, the correct dual point distributor’s in place and the wiring is all new from the harnesses to the ballast resistor to the date coded voltage regulator. All hoses are proper from the correct heater and radiator hoses to the Gates 11/32” PCV hose and the date coded power steering return line. An 048 radiator’s up front keeping things cool. Correct fasteners hold everything in place and the motor’s so fresh the correctly painted-on-the-motor exhaust manifolds have yet to burn off the orange paint!

The undercarriage might just be cleaner than the top, correctly finished in dark gray “dip” primer and with all new and refurbished components are in place. The exhaust is a full reproduction system from manifolds to the date coded mufflers to the resonators and tips. The front suspension is correct down to the correct end links and new strut rod washers and nuts. There’s a new fuel tank, new lines and everything else you’d expect on a high dollar restoration. Undercoating lines the wheel wells in an as-new “sloppy” manner, and overspray from it covers the brake and fuel lines as well as the upper control arm access flaps, just as it should. The Dana’s rebuilt and detailed; the leaf springs are restored originals with new pads and clamps. There’s enough body color underneath to duplicate the factory’s (lack of) effort, but the paint’s flawless all the way to the bottom of the rockers. Cosmoline coats the lower control arms while plenty of runs in the paint on the torsion bars simulates the factory job. A restored starter splash shield protects the original Hemi 4 speed direct drive starter.

Build sheet, original window sticker, original VIN tag, original body: Your investment is assured. The quality of the workmanship, the rarity of GTX Hemi cars and the car’s three color scheme set it apart. Investment grade National award winning HEMI B Body … this is what you’ve been looking for in a high caliber show car with no excuses.

1970 Buick Gran Sport 455 Stage 1 - Muscle Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Need a fix with Buick written all over it? Say, the premier muscle machine from GM’s luxury brand, the GS455 Stage 1? Of course, FULL documents are in order, and did you say you want yours to tear off the tires on the 2-3 shift? Yeah, we thought so.

Let’s start with the car’s credentials. This is a true 44637 ’70 GS455 Stage 1 car, and it says so right in the VIN. Proving a car’s a true Stage 1 can be tricky, but not this time—we have the ORIGINAL window sticker, the ORIGINAL Protect-O-Plate, the ORIGINAL bill of sale and the ORIGINAL build sheet straight from the Flint Assembly plant’s paint shop! How wild is that? The POP shows an SS engine and a BB transmission—those are both Stage 1 parts. The original Bill of Sale and original Window Sticker show the car was delivered to Dan Sillings Buick in New Albany, IN, and was sold to Paul Bandy of Louisville KY, right across the Ohio River. The “made especially for” tag is still on the original dash pad with Paul’s name on it—too cool! And hey, if your vision isn’t what it used to be but you still want to check the options, take a gander at the original build sheet on its 11x14” paper. It has the body shop checklist on the back and it’s in fantastic shape!

Finished in Harvest Gold over Burnished Saddle, this car came with a pile of options. Here’s what’s on the window sticker:

L75 Stage 1 option package
M40 Turbo 400 automatic transmission
D55 Full length console
N40 Power steering
J50 Power brakes
U63 Sonomatic AM radio
U80 Rear seat speaker
PK5 G70-14 White letter tires
U15 Speed alert
A02 Tinted windshield
B93 Door edge guards
D33 Remote control driver side mirror
W88 Gauge package w/tachometer
PA6 Super sport wheels
C08 Vinyl top
W17 Custom bucket seat interior

With a $62 destination charge this bad boy wound up at $4,543.42—no small potatoes but this is a loaded car! Paul ended up with a $117.35 payment for three years…don’t you wish you could still get a deal like this today!

Fifteen years later the Buick was holding up well and was holding its value—The Bandys sold the car to Jim Duer in June of 1985 for $3000. Of course, if you wanted to check the maintenance record for the car, simply page through the owner’s manual—Paul wrote in the margins and on the covers every time the car needed attention! Jim did what was natural with his new high performance hot rod—he upped the power. If you’re interested in Buick power, there’s only one place to go, and he knew it—Kenne Bell Performance in California. Jim ordered up custom pistons, a KB cam kit, roller rockers and more (we have the receipts) and turned his car into quite the terror. He campaigned it locally as The Broker, a fitting name for such a luxury performance piece! Area builder Shively Speed and Machine handled the machining duties, right down to decking the block and erasing the numbers matching VIN and SS Stage 1 identification—Chevy guys will appreciate that careless error! Back then having the original motor just meant you got better pieces…it was a $3000 used car, after all! The car’s detuned from its high point and again sports its original exhaust and intake manifolds, air cleaner assembly and other cosmetics, but there’s still a TON of power under the hood. This is not a car to tangle with!

Harvest Gold wasn't the most popular color for high performance cars but on a Buick body it becomes a distinguished and elegant coat for the muscular hardware beneath. The paint job was done in the early 90’s and shines well today. The chrome and stainless is largely original to the car and looks great. 15” wheels with 215/70 front and 235/70 rear B F Goodrich tires plant the car far better than the factory Wide Ovals could have hoped for. All GS equipment from the specific rockers to the sport hood are in excellent condition. The vinyl top is in as-new condition. This is a high quality driver that’ll simply turn heads.

Look underneath at the super solid, bulletproof chassis. The steering, suspension and braking systems have been kept up over the years and work better than new. There’s a new dual exhaust system with a tough tone that isn’t overbearing, a built ’73 TH400 and the original Posi rear axle out back. The frame and floors are totally solid—this is a well kept, cared for car, and that’s what you want to see.

Sit inside and enjoy. You’re sitting on new seat covers and resting your feet on new carpeting, but by and large this is an untouched cabin. That’s not a bad thing as the car’s been cared for its entire life! Those are excellent original door panels, gauges, the center console and more. This is a comfy office that’ll lull the competition to sleep!

Powerful with class—this is the ultimate “steel hammer in a velvet glove” muscle car. The 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 is considered by most to be the fastest muscle car of the era, in stock form. 39 years later, what are the odds of finding an example that is well sorted out mechanically, driveable, documented and a sure fire bet to appreciate in the future? From its amazing documentation, to its well kept condition to its high powered drive train, this is a special car that will bring its new owner rewards for decades to come.

1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 440 6 Pack - Muscle Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Looking for a long-distance cruiser, but it's gotta be a numbers-matching six pack? Those don't come along frequently—they're usually loaded up with big axles and tough-riding equipment. Ma Mopar sure did bolt together a few odd ones, though, and this one’s pretty far out there! Take a hot new '70 Road Runner, give it the 440 six pack engine, high impact paint and an Air Grabber hood, but make sure there's a set of 3.23's out back, disc brakes and power steering...and definitely don't forget the “air foam” bench seat! This is a real dual-personality jobber!

Looking over the ORIGINAL Chrysler Corporation Broadcast sheet, there are a couple codes that are unusual for those of us below the Great White North: Y07 Canadian order and Y89 new car pre-service, Windsor, ON. Adding in code Y22 corporate lease car—corporate executive clarifies things a lot...this was most likely a traveling district manager's car! It's not like a six pack with 3.23's won't get going in a hurry but it was the most economical gear available on the Road Runner! Perfect for the busy executive on the move!

Here’s are the highlights from the build sheet:

RM23: Plymouth Belvedere Road Runner, two door hardtop
V0A: 440 390HP 3-2BBL 8 CYL, 1970, Lynch Road, Detroit MI, USA final assembly
E87: 440 cid 3x2 barrel V8 (High Performance) 390hp
D32: Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission
FY1: Lemon Twist Exterior Color
H2X9: Trim - High, Bench seat, Black
X9: Black Upper Door Frame Paint
B24: Build Date: November 24, 1969
A04: Basic Group
B41: Disc Brakes
B51: Power Brakes
C65: Air Foam Bench Seat
D53: 3.23 Ratio 8 ¾ Axle, Open Differential
G33: LH Remote Racing Mirror
J45: Hood Tie Down Pins
L31: Hood Mounted Turn Signals
M21: Roof drip rail moldings
M81: Front Bumper Guards
M83: Rear Bumper Guards
N41: Dual Exhaust
N85: Tachometer
N96: Air Grabber Hood
R11: Radio Solid State AM (2 Watts)
R31 Rear Speaker
S15 Hemi Suspension
S77 Power Steering
U62: F60-15 Polyglas Tires
V8X: Tail Stripe, Black
W21: Rallye Wheels
Y07: Build to Canadian Specs

Oftentimes, Chrysler and other companies would load cars up with a mishmash of their new options to show what’s available to order, even if the car’s total equipment package seems to make no sense! A six pack car, with no exhaust tips, the basic 22” radiator, an open diff, hood pins but no performance hood treatment...this car's certifiable! There were so many choices Mopar offered, and after looking at so many cars, we're completely drawn to odd combinations above all else! Pull up at a car show with this car, find a couple Mopar “experts” and watch their eyes bug out of their heads when they scan the fender tag and build sheet!

So enough about the paperwork: How’s the car? Deep gloss Lemon Twist yellow paint coats the straight body and looks good from every angle. The grille is near NOS and the bumpers are re-chromed. All of the small chrome pieces such as the door handles are new, and the stainless trim was given a high-quality polish job. You'll see the performance hood treatment, dust trails and exhaust tips added to the car—can you blame us for wanting a flashier Beeper??? BFGoodrich Radial T/A’s, 225/70/15 front and 275/60/15 rear, wrap rallye wheels equipped with new trim rings and center caps. This is a car that turns heads!

Inside you’ll find new seat covers front and rear from Legendary, and you'll see the much sportier buckets-and-console set has taken up residence. If you're a purist, though, we have the original bench seats and door panel set in excellent condition. There's a new ACC carpet, new sill plates, a new package tray, a very nice, un-cracked dash pad, new door panels, new window cranks and inside door handles. Whew! The gauges all work and are in great shape. I'm sure our Chrysler district rep would approve!

Scan underneath and find clean sheet metal covered in protective undercoating. The 8 ¾ rear with its 3.23 gears (and an added Sure Grip) does its job without complaint, taking power from the tight automatic transmission. A brand new Accurate Exhaust Products system and new chrome tips poking out from below the rear bumper not only looks great but sounds nice and throaty. The brakes are new as is the suspension. There’s nothing overdone here—this is a car that can and is meant to be driven! Open the trunk to find a spare tire, the complete jack assembly and a new trunk mat. This is a complete car!

Pop the hood and find the ORIGINAL numbers matching 440 six pack motor, well detailed and bolted to the ORIGINAL transmission. Take a guess as to how many original V code Mopars still have their entire factory drive trains—we haven’t seen many! Fresh Hemi Orange paint covers the mill, while the exhaust manifolds are coated with Eastwood high temp compound. The air cleaner’s the correct one and it covers correct, date coded carburetors. Also in there is a re-cored radiator and a new group 27 “red cap” battery. New radiator hoses, Mopar heater hoses, Corbin clamps throughout, a new engine wiring harness and electronic ignition are also there for your perusal. Freshly tuned the car’s a runner, and the Six Pack looks awesome when the hood’s popped!

Ready for a documented, numbers matching Road Runner that you can actually drive? Collecting is all about having rare and unusual pieces—they don’t come too much more rare than this one! Priced right and ready for 20 more years of showing and cruising, you won’t find a cooler 1970 V code car any time soon!

1967 Pontiac GTO 400 - Muscle Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

GTO fans, this is a GREAT example of the most popular year for Pontiac's original muscle car! Cool turquoise inside and out, PHS documented, rotisseried and frame off restored and fully sorted beautifully this is an awesome cruiser and a whale of a collectable!

Here's the data tag:

10D 412
ST 67 24217 BAL 1788 BODY
TR 220 KK PAINT
C 212094
10D=October, fourth week
412=Daily sequence number (412th car built that day)
ST 67 24217=1967 model year, Pontiac Motor Division, GTO, two door hardtop
BAL=Baltimore plant
1788=Consecutive body number
TR 220=Turquoise bucket seat interior
KK=Gulf Turquoise monotone paint
C=Console
212094=Internal body number

Options on the car according to the PHS papers are:

342 AM radio with manual antenna
394 Mirror, left side remote
472 Center console
532 Soft-Ray tinted windshield
71/72 MC F70-14 Wide Oval redline tires
731 Safe-T-Track rear differential
75/76 WT 400 4bbl, 335hp
77/78 W4 Wide ratio 4 speed manual (M20)

Sticker price was $3390.68 plus a $66 destination charge to King Pontiac City in nearby Gaithersburg, Maryland. GM must have had a minimum freight charge as this car cost more than a dollar a mile to deliver!

Pull this car back apart to check out the very nice restoration work. The frame, properly detailed in its satin black, is dotted from one end to the other with inspection marks. Both front and rear suspensions are the same way—new components, properly detailed. There are hang tags everywhere, and it's obvious careful attention was paid to a restorer's manual with the markings! There's a new exhaust system from one end to the other. New hard lines, new brake parts, new steering parts...everything's new with fewer than 10 miles on them!

Open the well fitted doors and sit inside. There's new turquoise upholstery behind you, new carpeting under you and a new headliner and sun visor set over your head. Original, lightly toned gauges sit behind a new gauge bezel and wood grain set under a mint dash pad. Mint door panels are at your sides and a nice center console separates you from your passenger while a wood steering connects you to the car's movements. Original, 1967 only window cranks with the correct turquoise knobs are in place with new door handles and vent window levers. Some cars just feel right when you're behind the wheel—this is one of them!

Pop the hood and find the very nicely detailed NUMBERS MATCHING WT code 400ci engine. The chrome under here from the valve covers, the oil cap and the air cleaner is from Ames Performance and really shines things up. Pontiac engine bays of this era really aren't anything to write home about, so cleanliness and condition are of prime importance. Satin black covers the wheel wells, core support and firewall just as it should and are free of superfluous knickknacks or add ons. Marks are on the firewall for the exterior color and interior type as well as inspection marks and heater box types. It's all clean and it all works great!

Sight down the sides and see some really straight bodywork. Gulf Turquoise is an excellent color for a GTO—it's sporty and classy at the same time. Chrome parts shine as new from one bumper to the other and from the headlight bezels to the "Hurst equipped" emblem on the tail panel. Lenses are bright and clear and GE halogen headlights lead the way. Stainless moldings shine as new, and the glass is excellent for original pieces. A brand new set of 15” Rally II wheels, center caps and trim rings from Wheel Vintiques are complimented by brand new BFGoodrich 215/70/15 radial redlines. They belong on every GTO but they're especially beautiful against the turquoise paint!

All of that is nice, but what's really special is how the car responds to your commands. The steering and brake efforts are light, the motor moves out willingly and the transmission shifts without complaint or noise!

If you're in the market for a clean GTO in a rare color, with cool options, not to mention paperwork and a numbers matching mill, look no further. The restoration is fresh, '67 is THE year to grab for a GTO and the car's as much fun to drive as it is to show!

1936 Alvis Speed 20 SC Tourer - Collector Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Make: Alvis
Type: Speed 20 SC C&E Tourer
Year: 1936

Approx. 15 years ago I sold this beautiful Alvis Tourer to one of my Belgian customers. I am happy to notice that after years of classic car pleasure this Tourer is again entrusted to me in search of a new owner.
The initial super quality of this very elegant Alvis has aged very well over all these years. Additionally this Speed 20 has had the benefit of a complete engine rebuild by our specialised workshop some years ago and did prove for total reliability and effortless power from the fresh 2,7 liter 6 cylinder 90 HP unit enabling good performances in all nowadays 'modern' road-circumstances.

Having driven all sorts of prewar classics during my 20 year career the Speed 20 Tourer remains my favourite. I am sure to convince you just in a few strong points:
- Extremely elegant and very practical Cross & Ellis tourer design.
- Light, mostly aluminium body construction.
- Super-easy manipulation thanks to for its time very modern technical engineering featuring independant front suspension and full synchromesh gearbox.
- Very reasonable market value.

1948 Connaught L2 - Racecar For Sale

Description:

Make: Connaught L2 , 2L, Racing Car
Type: RHD - MPH 329
Year: 1948

This is the first production car, Connaught made.
Connaught (Continental Automobiles), was founded in 1946 by designer engineers Rodney Clarke and Mike Oliver. Initially, the company specialised in preparing and tuning prewar Grand Prix machinery such as Bugatti T59 and Maserati 8CM.
With the help of a financial backer (Mc Alpine), the young company decided to build their onw designed race cars. This was the L2 sport racing car, based on heavily uprated Lea-Francis running gear.

The first 2 cars produced (MPH329 and MPH996) distincted themselves by winning immediately the races they were entered in (Prescott 12th of June 1949, Goodwood 13th of August 1949, Blanford meeting 1949).

As you can see from the photographs, MPH329 is nowadays still in excellent racing condition. Still equiped as from original with the uprated 2 liter Lea-Francis engine fed by 4 Amal carburettors. Well maintained by careful owners over the years, this racing car could be an exciting and very interesting entry to all important historic race events.

I have an impressive documentation file which ofcourse will come with this race car. Particularly the previous race results illustrated with charming black/white photographs. Amongst these found excellent competition results obtained by this Connaught with several 1st, 2nd and 3rd places on circuits all over England (Silverstone, Goodwood, Prescott) but also abroad (Chimay-Belgium).

In conclusion, this Connaught L2 race car represents a once in a liftime opportunity for someone who could like to participate at all major historic race events without having to break the bank.

1953 Fiat Ottovu Rapi Series II - Classic Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Make: Fiat
Type: Ottovu Rapi Series II - LHD
Year: 1953

You can not imagine how glad I was to be able to secure this beautiful Fiat Ottovu !

This II-nd series 8V coachbuilt by Fabio Luigi Rapi is a matching numbers car (chassis: 86 - engine: 120) which was initially sold new to the Italian Count Ranieri di Campello in 1953.
After two more short term Italian owners in 1957 and 1958 chassis 86 ended-up in 1958 into the hands of the British enthusiast Mr. John Wilks, who kept the Ottovu until his death in the early nineties.
A little bit later, this somehow tired Fiat 8V, was offered for sale at auction where Mr. Horst Koch from Germany could secure this very rare sportscar for himself. By doing so he fulfilled his childhood dream, because before him his father was also Fiat specialist in Heilbronn.

Over a period of 5 years Mr. Koch restored this II-nd series Rapi Ottovu till into the smallest details, respecting of course as much as possible originality.
The 2 liter V8 engine, known to be a delicate unit, was up-graded after engineering advise of very highly skilled German automotive engineers.
The result is a magnificent sportscar, so nice, so perfect, so immaculate that he didn't dare driving his little jewel. Only 150 km in 10 years time !

I was very glad I was around at the time when Mr. Koch realized that the only chance for this Ottovu to be driven, was... by selling his pride and joy to someone else.
I bought and sold in the last couple of years several Fiats Ottovu. 4 Zagato bodied sports-competition cars and 1 exclusive Supersonic by Ghia. All were very nice, but this one, chassis 86, is just perfect!
Are you in the market for a perfect Ottovu? Well, in that case, just contact me!

Year: 1957

I was very pleased to enter a 'fresh' Aurelia B24 Convertible into my stock (chassis 1401 - engine 1532 ).

As one can see from the photographs, this 1957 LHD Lancia B24 Convertible is in excellent condition inside-out with the added benefit of a very recent complete overhaul of mechanics on this sportscar.

Only 550 Aurelia B24 Convertibles were built and the fact that this particular B24 Convertible comes with the very rare factory hard-top gives her an even greater attraction to Lancia connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
The last Italian owner, who has a nice classic car collection, used this Convertible from now and then for touristic rallies with his wife. He prefers to concentrate now on the more sporty events with the other to that style of use orientated sportscars in his collection.

This Lancia comes with Italian registration documents, certificate of the Aurelia Registro and the important ASI historic passport (ASI certificate N° A5480).
Taking in consideration the very high prices the even more rare B24 Spider variants nowadays for this excellent condition car, certainly more usable B24 Convertible seems to me an opportunity too good to miss.

1962 Alvis TD21 Convertible - Collector Car For Sale (Click Here)

Description:

Make: Alvis TD21 Series II
Type: Convertible Automatic RHD
Year: 1962

By now, many of my classic car friends will know that I have a weak spot for Alvis.
From the postwar production of this quality British car manufacturer, the TD21 Series II Convertible is, in my opinion, the most exclusive model. Produced in very limited numbers this SII Convertible is regarded by Alvis connoisseurs as the esthetically purest and pleasing variant.
The last owner bought this TD21 exactly 20 years ago and had his classic convertible step by step completely reconditionned over the years. Great presentation in maroon metallic with dark grey leather upholstery + hood and chrome whire wheels.

20 years later and having covered only 6.000 miles extra to the original milage of 65.000, this Alvis looks and feels still very 'fresh'.
After a recent £ 10,000 GBP service by a make specialist, this stylish typical British tourer is ready for much more relaxed and comfortable classic car fun.

Your chance to acquire a quality convertible at a reasonable.
